Indices Make Gains In Opening Trade, Sensex At 59,192

Stock indices opened higher today despite Q3 growth slowdown and weak overseas cues. The BSE Sensex gained 230 points to open at 59,192 and the NSE Nifty was up 68 points to reach 17,372.
