Government Asks States To Borrow Rs 2.35 Lakh Crore To Meet Tax Shortfall

Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey said the states’ tax shortfall in the fiscal year that began in April was estimated at Rs 3 lakh crore.
