Sensex drops 130 points on weak global cues; Nifty at 11,750

After opening in green, benchmark indices drifted lower as the day progressed. At 9.27 am, BSE flagship Sensex was down 129.60 points or 0.32 per cent to 40,015.90. NSE benchmark Nifty followed and dipped 27.15 points or 0.23 per cent to 11,740.60.
